It is with regret that the Hartsville Family YMCA Spring Slam has been cancelled.  Unfortunately, despite everyone's expectations to the contary, the registrations for this tournament just did not come through in a timely enough fashion.  We knew we had a short window of opportunity and thought we were filling an open weekend with a tournament and prize purse that would attract the necessary numbers to run a great event.  However, it just didn't happen for us.

We very much want to be a yearly stop on the racquetball circuit again.  We are regrouping with our own committee of racquetball players and are looking to establish an annual January event with a susbstantial prize pool that everyone will be excited to see.  We are proud of our YMCA and our lovely City of Hartsville and know you will think so too after participating with us.

Track us on our website at www.upperpdymca.org or "like" us as the YMCA of the Upper Pee Dee on Facebook.  Tournament information will also be listed on the SC Racquetball Association website as soon as we schedule our date.

Our apologies for the invconvenience, it is never our intention to cancel or postpone any event, but in this case it was necessary.

Thank you,

Howard Tripp
Branch Director
Hartsville YMCA
